As Peter focused on Christ, he was able to walk on water. When Peter’s attention shifted to the storm around him, he feared and began to sink. Jesus was calm and serene as he reached out to Peter. His hand was stretched out in love and grace to save Peter.

”And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” - Matthew 14:31
